The Countdown
Eva, a successful journalist, only has one year left until her daughter Kira leaves to study abroad. To get Kira ready for the ‘real’ world, she puts herself to the task to teach her daughter the basic skills for daily life. Their last year together is a rollercoaster of new fears, motherly-love, pride, and the conviction that letting go is inevitable.

The countdown portrays an a-typical mother-daughter relationship in which trust plays a much bigger role than authority.
